RCR Organic Feed Store carries a complete line of USDA certified organic and Non GMO Project verified feeds, grains, and minerals. What sets us apart from the local feed stores and big box retailers is that "We Use What We Sell."
With over 20 years of experience raising we've raised organically, chickens, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, guinea hens, peacocks as well as alpaca, cows, donkeys, horses, goats, llamas and sheep on our farm Rivers Critters Ranch .
About Us - Rivers Critters Ranch
In 1998 we began breeding Olde English Babydoll Sheep and started raising free range chickens. It was immediately apparent that many people were looking to put "good" food on the table. That is food that did not contain any chemicals, growth hormones or antibiotics. And so we found our niche...raising animals grown using natural methods based on organic standards and selling organic feed and minerals.
At peak we have raised as over 2,000 free range chickens a year, feeding them organically certified chicken feed and raising them using a true free range method. In fact, all our livestock are raised in this manner. We use no chemical fertilizers or pesticides, no growth hormones and no un-necessary antibiotics. We use what we sell and pride ourselves in the fact that our animals are happy and healthy with very few visits from the vet. Currently living on the farm are sheep, goats, peacocks, chickens, llamas, alpaca, donkeys, guinea fowl, rabbits, mini horse, and an assortment of dog and cats.
